Hunting Human

Hunting Human

For two years, Beth Williams has run from the past, and the beast that dwells inside her. She is haunted by memories of
being kidnapped and the savage attack that killed her best friend. Now Beth finally thinks she's ready to move on...with
Braden Edwards, a charming, irresistibly sexy man who tempts Beth to embrace the present.

But the past lurks closer than Beth realizes. Markko Bolvek, one of the werewolves who kidnapped her, has tracked her
to Portland, Oregon, his pursuit fueled by a hunger for vengeance. Only Braden, a werewolf himself, senses the danger
shadowing her steps. The Edwards and Bolveks have been enemies for centuries—and despite the instant connection
he feels with Beth, Braden isn't sure which side of the war she's on.

With suspicion at odds with their attraction, Beth and Braden must learn to trust one another to stop Markko for good.
Can Beth accept the wolf within—and love a man who embodies everything she fears?

(My Thoughts)        5   STARS!!!!!
Hunting Human had me hooked by the first chapter. I couldn't put this book down. The story definitely pulls you in. Beth is troubled but strong, independent young woman trying to get her life back together after her friend Rachel gets killed by the Bolveks’ brothers. Beth escapes the Bolveks, but not without her life changing forever. She never stays in one place too long. She ends up in Portland, where she meets Braden Edwards, a handsome, strong , and charming werewolf who won't take no for answer when it comes to being with Beth. How can Beth not love Braden as he throws her in the trunk of his car, taking her to his family’s house? And how can Braden not love Beth as she hits him with a car jack across the head? These two are crazy about each other. But all this tough love, with their on and off again romance, is what I enjoy about these two. It will have you glued to the book. And then there’s Markko Bolvek, who is also a werewolf bound to have Beth, but for entirely different reasons. But there’s no way the Edwards are going to allow that to happen. An action-packed, highly romantic read, I recommend Hunting Human for lovers of paranormal romance and readers just wanting something fresh.
Cant wait to see where Braden,Beth and The Edwards family go in second book to this series.
