 (MY THOUGHTS)        5 HEARTS!!!!!
Young Love Murder is one adventurous novel that I would love to say, ''Oh yeah, baby, this is my life". April Brookshire doesn't lie when she says, "This isn't a love story, it's a love adventure". I love this novel with its kick-ass assassin and its wild roller coaster ride of a romance. Brookshire has added new meaning to the saying I love you to death. I love Brookshire’s writing and the way she tells a story with a lot of humor and romance. But there’s also plenty of drama and action. Brookshire did excellent on all the characters, especially with Anna. There’s no way a girl, who has been raised in an assassin life-style, that also becomes an assassin, is going to have a normal life or romance. So this story for me was real to who the characters are and has a fantastic storyline.

Seventeen-year-old Annabelle (Anna) is a highly trained assassin, who is hired by anonymous clients to take out the bad criminals of this world—the ones that the government can't touch, or people can't get justice from in the courts. Anna’s parents were killed when she was two. Her parents’ good friend Simon, who worked with them in the assassin profession, raised Anna and her brother Jackson. Simon trains Anna and Jackson to be assassins and so they can protect themselves from their parents’ killers. But one thing Anna wasn't trained for was falling in love. Anna was taught love was a weakness, that it will get her killed. But when Anna meets her target's son Gabriel,  she finds out she can't fight fate, fate that Gabriel is the love of her life.

Gabriel is seventeen and a player. He's out for fun at the clubs and a little down time with all the young ladies he can get. Cocky Gabriel is about to get whipped when he meets Anna. She’s definitely not like any other girl. What teenage girl wears a knife strapped to her upper thigh? Gabriel and Anna’s romance is hilarious and deadly, but it is a beautiful one and I loved it.

Jackson is Anna's nineteen-year-old brother and I love this guy. He's just Mr. Cool. Jackson and Anna’s relationship is great. I was laughing at these two all the way through this story. When a normal brother protects his sister it’s funny enough, but when the brother is assassin, you might better take him seriously when he tells you you better not hurt is baby sister. Jackson and Anna are truth to their sibling rivalry, but they’re also all the family each other has, and Jackson will do whatever it takes to keep his sister safe.

Young Love Murder starts out with Anna and Gabriel at seventeen, and you go through their four year period of first love, heart-breaks, to when they finally get it right when they’re twenty. Young Love Murder is definitely a romantic adventure and one I highly recommend as a must read. I can't wait for the next book when it’s cool Jackson's turn to fall in love.
