Book Description:

Madison LeBon is dead set against the dead. She has vowed to ignore her Voodoo-stamped heritage and the psychic gift passed down through her Louisiana family. The world of the living is where she wants to belong.

But her resolution shatters when the tragic lovers in a painting—the subject of her first history class at Oxford—begin to haunt her. The lovers warn her against their own nemesis, a Puritan from the English Civil War.

College becomes more complicated when Madison falls hard for Rupert Vance, a troubled aristocrat and descendant of one of the characters in the painting. With the spirit of a murderer after her, she realizes that her own first love may also be doomed…

Oxford Whispers is a fantastic novel. I fell in love with its deja vu storyline, wonderful characters, and steamy romance. Marion Croslydon created an awesome “who will it be” mystery, mixing it up with Louisiana voodoo magic, and hot romance all centered around a painting from the 1650's. I love everything about this novel, especially that it’s told from Madison, Rupert, and Peter’s point of view. Croslydon can't write the second book in this series with Madison and Rupert fast enough for me.

Madison is twenty-one, and trying to run from her life in the Louisiana bayou and the voodoo gift that the women in her family inherit. So when she goes to college at Oxford University, she figures England is far enough away to forget where she comes from and start a new beginning. But England turns out to be her past, or rather the past of her descendant, and she will have to find out the truth of what the painting of the maiden, Puritan, and the Cavalier has to do with her and the gorgeous guy she has fallen for before history repeats itself.

Rupert is the gorgeous, athletic, English aristocrat who loves the ladies and his drinking parties. But all that changes for Rupert when he meets Madison at a party and falls hard for this not so rich Louisiana bayou girl. I love Rupert. He's my kind of guy. It takes being a little bit of a bad boy to get what he wants, and yep, he wants Madison.

Oxford Whispers is a mystery filled with suspense, bayou magic, and steamy romance that definitely makes me want more of Madison and Rupert. I recommend Oxford Whispers as a fantastic read!

Some of My Favorite Oxford Whispers Swoon Quotes:

“So, Rupert, are there any other “first times” you could steal from me tonight?” She lifted her chin in an open challenge.

She had never looked so beautiful. He was lost. Totally, entirely lost to her. And that scared the shit out of him.

“It isn’t about me tonight. Just you.” She shook her head. “No, tonight, it’s about us. Just us.”

About the author
In addition to being an author, I work as an entrepreneur, wife and mother-of-one but spend a good deal of time with books, DVDs and listening to my mp3 player; all for the sake of inspiration, of course.

My debut series, The Oxford Trilogy, has been a blast to write because I can indulge in my favorite types of music: Country and English rock.

My main goal as a writer is to make readers dream bigger and cause their hearts to beat a little faster.
Since my writing is all about sharing dreams and stories, I love connecting with fellow readers and authors.
