Book Description:

She’s a loner, she likes to fight and, oh yeah...she has the ability to see the demons that lay beneath the faces of ordinary humans. It’s a gift Charlie Wright inherited the night her parents were brutally murdered when she was fourteen years old.

Now in her last year of high school, Charlie just can’t seem to keep herself out of trouble.  Rather than taking a one-way trip to juvenile detention, Charlie chooses to join a mysterious group called The ForeverLand Alliance.

And then her life really gets weird.

Charlie finds herself magically transported to an alternate universe. In Semper Terra, no one ages, people fly, and one stunningly gorgeous, immortal man manages to capture Charlie’s heart and awaken the adult woman she is becoming.

But it’s not all fun and games. For Charlie is training to become an Annihilator, a select group of Semper Terrans who protect mankind from all of those things that go “bump in the night”.

It’s only when Charlie finds herself stuck in the middle of a prophecy that could bring about the end of the world that she truly begins to understand the deep sacrifices she will have to make.

Author Sawyer Bennett's Favorite FOREVER YOUNG Ouotes!

I was labeled “a lost cause”. My therapist said the seven months I refused to speak after my parents’ murders caused prospective foster families to be a little “gun shy” around me.
Poor choice of words if you ask me... considering my parents were killed by a gun. – Charlie Wright
I love this quote. It’s from the first chapter of the book and it’s Charlie’s internal dialogue. It very succinctly shows that she has had a tragic life, but she maintains this sort of dry, sarcastic humor along the way. I believe her humor is what has helped her to survive.
“Second thing to know... nothing is impossible in Semper Terra. Write that down. Memorize it. It’s the truth and will be the answer to many of your questions.” – Caiden Gallagher
This line alone tells you how much fun I have writing this story, because nothing is impossible. I can be as creative as I want in developing my alternative universe.
“Glad to make you feel at ease. Just because I’m gay, don’t go thinking that as best friends, we are going to get manis and pedis every weekend together. I’m very manly. I drink of the manly beer, like to watch football, and despise designer clothes.” – Justas Archambault
This is a quote from one of Charlie’s best friends in Semper Terra. I like it because Justas is openly gay and accepted by all of his family and friends, but he still wants to bust stererotypes.
“Oh girls, how quaint. They let an orphaned child into the program. At least she’ll have a bed to sleep on rather than a park bench.” – Payton Daugherty
You are going to love to hate Payton. She is the mean girl in this story and boy do she and Charlie clash. But she is also pivotal to the story, so watch out.

USA Today Best-Selling author, Sawyer Bennett, is a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have two big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Sawyer would like to report she doesn't have many weaknesses but can be bribed with a nominal amount of milk chocolate.
