                                                                             About Luck On The Line

To turn her life around, she’ll have to stand the heat. To fulfill his dreams, he’ll have to get Lucky.

Despite her name, Lucky Pierce has always felt a little cursed. Refusing to settle for less or settle down, she changes jobs as often as she changes boyfriends. When her celebrity chef mother challenges her to finish something, Lucky agrees to help her launch Boston’s next hot restaurant, The Star. Even if it means working with the infuriating, egotistical, and undeniably sexy head chef.

James loves being known as Boston’s hottest bad boy in the kitchen, but if he wants to build a reputation as a serious chef, he has to make this restaurant work and keep his scandalous past out of the headlines. Getting involved with his boss’s spoiled, sharp-tongued daughter is definitely not on the menu.

As the launch of The Star looms and the tension and chemistry heat up in the kitchen, they’re going to need more than a little luck to keep everything from boiling over.

                                                                                      MY THOUGHTS

I fell in love with Zoraida Cordova’s The Vicious Deep, her Young Adult series. So when I saw she had a New Adult coming out, I felt like Luck On The Line that I was going to finally see Cordova unleash. By that, I mean her YA series was hilarious and smexy, and so I knew her New Adult wouldn’t hold back with the humor and sexy romance. And boy, oh boy, was I right. Cordova had me laughing my behind off and fanning myself from Lucky and James's hilariously hot romance. Have to give you just a little snippet of the humor between Lucky and James:

"I came for my latte." he murmurs in his baritone voice.
"Hate to break it to you," I say. "I chucked it. It tasted like ass."
Whatever he thought I was going to say, it wasn't that. His face scrunches up, like he's gathering his thoughts. Then he says, "Have much experience in that area, do you?"

Omg, that scene between these two was just awesome and hilarious, and that's just a little taste of Lucky and James’ love/hate relationship.

Lucky is a fantastic heroine. She’s smart, feisty, sexy, and she is tough. I also love her aggressiveness. Now put her with a guy who is every bit her equal, and believe me James is every bit Lucky's equal. James is a gorgeous, Harley motorcycle riding chef, a sexy bad boy, and together you have a recipe for one smartass, sizzling hot, wild romance.

These two can cook in the bedroom just as hot as in the kitchen. But there's a serious side to Lucky and James, and they’re both trying to get their broken life on the right track. And I loved seeing these two stubborn yet beautiful people find out they needed each other and love is a good thing.

Zoraida Cordove has cooked up a delicious recipe for love with Lucky and James and added just the right amount of humor and sexiness to create a must read swoon worthy New Adult romance.
