                                                                                           Synopsis

Here’s the same old “girl posing as a boy” story but with a rock-n-roll twist.

Remy Curran dreams of one day being in a band, except the group she wants to join refuses to hire a girl drummer. So, she auditions as a guy...and makes the cut.

Becoming “Sticks,” a member of Non-Castrato, isn’t quite what she dreamed it would be, though. She spends most of her time keeping up the subterfuge and learning how to walk, talk, act, and drink like a man.

But what’s even harder to deal with is acting oblivious when the band’s heartthrob lead singer, Asher Hart, treats her like one of the guys and not a woman. She never imagined he’d be so much more than a pretty face with a nice voice. But he’s better than perfect. He’s perfect for her.

When love and lies combine, Remy must keep up the act or lose everything. But who knew lying to reach one dream could prevent you from attaining an even bigger dream?

                                                         My Thoughts

Oh, how I loved the cocky Asher Hart in Ten (Oren) and Caroline's story, A Perfect Ten (book #5). I’ve been waiting for Asher's story. Asher is the sexy bassist, hot lead singer in the band Non-Castrato. He's also a bartender at Pick's bar. Asher has closed himself off…but there was one woman that managed to penetrate his stay-away-from-me armor—the girl who sang "All About That Bass" on karaoke night at the Pick's bar. Only she disappeared before Asher could talk to her. Funny how life has of way making sure Asher finds this girl, his forever love, when and where he least expects it.

Remy has dreamed of playing the drums and being in a band like Non-Castrato, and when they need a drummer, she’s all but ready to show these guys she’s got what it takes. The only problem is she’s not a guy. So Remy comes up with an idea how to show Asher's band that she doesn't need a penis to be an amazing drummer. Remy becomes Sticks with a little makeover help from her best friend, Jodi. Remy's revenge is sweet, until she falls for sexy lead singer, Asher. Now the lies and deceit doesn't taste so sweet.

Asher and Remy's romance is a roller coaster ride of crazy insanity, along with humor and hurt. I loved ever Asher and Remy's crazy minute. Linda Kage keeps you on pins and needles with Asher and Remy/Sticks. I would like to mention that I love how Linda Kage always brings all the Forbidden Men characters together in each book in this series. She does this with every one of the books. Love this so much! Readers always get to see and be updated with what's going on with all the Forbidden Men and their ladies. I highly recommend The Girl's Got Secrets as a must read.
