Synopsis:
He's not perfect, but he's all I want...
I’m your average girl at your average high school, trying to figure out my place in life. After catching my now ex-boyfriend messing around with my now ex-best friend, I’ve made some big changes. No more band, no more backstabbing friends and no more boring old life. Now I have new friends, a new job and new interests.
But there’s a certain someone who’s interested in me, and I don’t get it. Jordan Tuttle could have anyone he wants. He’s the most popular boy in school. Rich, gorgeous, smart and the star quarterback, he’s perfect. Yet he acts like he wants no one else but…me.
So despite my fears and doubt, I let him get close. Probably too close. I discover that he’s not so perfect after all, but it doesn’t matter. I’m falling for him, even though he runs so hot and cold. I know someday he’s going to break my heart.
And I’m going to let him.

(My Thought)

For all of us who have fell in love with Monica Murphy's mature Young Adult/ New Adult series, Friends, there is no doubt after meeting Jordan Tuttle (known as Tuttle) that we had to have more of this broody, sexy, gorgeous jock star quarterback. And we got a swoon-worthy load of our beautiful jock in More Than Friends, book two, but we were left hanging on a cliff, and yes, I'm going to be hanging on to that nail-baiting cliffy, waiting for the rest of Tuttle and Amanda's story, and you better believe I'll be waiting. All these teens are amazing characters: Liv, Dustin, Em, Ryan, Amanda, Tuttle and a few more that have joined in this second book. I love Monica Murphy's novels, but I got to say the Friends series is my favorite so far. Well done, Ms. Monica Murphy, well done!

Amanda is a fantastic character. I love this girl. She's strong, focused, and levelheaded, and even though she thinks of herself as insecure, I myself think of Amanda as a very secure teen girl. She’s got her head together when it comes to guys; she’s not into the chase, even when it comes to her forever crush, Jordan Tuttle, the one guy that can make her lose her mind. Yes, the gorgeous football jock drives her crazy with his hot and cold signals and she just can't seem to trust him. Yet she can't stop her heart from falling in love with the game player.

Even though Tuttle has a reputation as a player—which he’s earned for good reasons—there’s only ever been one girl who’s owned his heart from the time he was twelve, and that would be the beautiful Amanda Winters. But it’s more than Amanda's beauty that attracts Tuttle to her, it's her mind; she’s smart, funny, and the only one that can make him smile. But the girl is a challenge, a challenge that also scares him.

Monica Murphy has me wrapped around her talented writing finger with this intense teen drama series. I need the next book in the Friends series like right now! Jordan Tuttle is most definitely a teen jock heartthrob and a must, must read.
