Sydney Walker’s new job is perfect. As the live-in nanny to the most famous quarterback in the NFL and his beautiful wife, she couldn’t have it any better. Their kids are adorable. Her bosses are more than generous. Plus, there are hot football players at the house all the time. Life can’t get much better than this.
Until her life turns into an absolute nightmare. The media is abuzz with rumors that she and her boss Drew Callahan are having a torrid affair. Everyone knows the truth—except the public. So Drew’s wife Fable comes up with the perfect idea.
She creates a fake relationship between Sydney and one of the rookie players on Drew’s team. Wade Knox is forever indebted to Drew and Fable and readily agrees to the set up. Pretending to be in a romantic relationship with the hot nanny for a week—how hard can it be?
Crazy how it only takes one week for two people to fall head over heels in love…

Safe Bet was a such a joy and pleasure to read. Sydney and Wade's romance is proof that history does repeat itself. And I’m so glad that it was a repeat of Drew and Fable's romantic history, but with Sydney and Wade's own beautiful twist that belongs only to their love story.
Sydney has been cut off from her parent’s money after she deceives them about college. Now the somewhat little spoiled rich girl has to make her own money to support herself. This lands Sydney (with the help of her brother) a job interview for a nanny position. The parents of the two small children are none other than Fable and Drew’s.
I really like Sydney. She might have never had to worry about money before, but she really is a good person. After the press misunderstand a situation with Drew and Sydney, Sydney is named Drew's Naughty Nanny. So of course, Fable comes up with the prefect plan to get the press off the lies that her and Drew's marriage is having problems. This is where Sydney and Wade pretend to be in a romantic relationship.
Neither Sydney nor Wade are too happy about this arrangement, but both owe Drew and Fable a lot for helping them, so Sydney and Wade agree to do this fake relationship for Drew and Fable’s sake. And Fable might use the naughty nanny excuse, because she has a feeling that these two belong together.
It was great to see Drew and Fable again, and where their story has taken them
5 Hearts of Love for Sydney and Wade
